Don and Lina are accomplished silent film actors who have often worked together. However, with the gradual transition of silent films to talkies, they face their share of struggles.
One of the first 25 films selected by the U.S. Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry for being culturally and historically significant, and ranked the eighth-best film of all time by Empire.
